Nice product, but needs tweakingOct 15, 2010

We bought a set of bunk beds with a trundle underneath, and there wasn't enough room under the bottom bunk for us to add any bedding to the trundle - aargh! I found these wood sofa legs from Waddell; they were one of the only reasonably priced legs I could find. They're a very nice quality wood and didn't have any flaws (scratches, nicks, etc.), plus they were sanded well enough that I could prime and paint them without additional sanding. I would have done one more fine sanding if we'd been staining them.
My only complaint was that the bolt that's set into the top isn't quite long enough. We purchased some T-nuts with the prongs, designed for wood, then screwed the leg in. There's just a little bit of wobble, as the bolt sticks up barely 1/2". One one leg, the bolt was only 3/8". I might have returned them, but didn't have the foresight to test them out before I had painted them. If you have a sofa that you move around a lot, for vacuuming or whatever, I wouldn't recommend these, but overall I'm pretty pleased with them for our application.
